Great care is given in the production of all handmade items to ensure safety, security and quality and give your jewellery a long-lasting life, however this does not make items indestructible, therefore we have prepared some guidelines to follow to ensure your piece remains in good condition:
DURING WEAR:
- Do not shower, soak, or submerge your jewellery
- Wear all products responsibly, remove these items whilst: sleeping, exercising, changing/dressing, cooking, cleaning/using household items or engaging in any activity that may damage the piece
- Avoid spraying/wearing perfumes near your jewellery and DO NOT spray any chemicals directly onto an item
STORAGE:
- Return jewellery to its original packaging, or specially designed jewellery storage that is of high standard to ensure safety
- Alternatively, store your jewellery in a polythene/zip lock bag with the air squeezed out
- Make sure any chains are secure to prevent tangling and where possible hang necklaces onto secure hooks
PLEASE NOTE:
- Never leave your jewellery in direct sunlight (doing so can cause discoloration/corrosion)
- Never leave your jewellery in a damp environment (doing so can cause discoloration/corrosion)
- If chains become tangled, apply a little talcum powder to make detangling easier
SILVER:
It’s completely natural for silver to tarnish/oxidise over time due to various reactions but with regular cleaning, you can prevent this from happening. We recommend using lukewarm water mixed with a very mild soap and a gentle cleansing cloth/soft bristled toothbrush for a light cleaning. Make sure you dry the jewellery afterwards to prevent water marks or corrosion. If a full cleaning/polishing is required, please do get in touch.
Many of our items are decorated with an oxidised solution. Despite measures made to preserve these qualities, these WILL adapt and alter over time. This could be due to a reaction with the air, moisture or skin contact and unfortunately, we are unable to prevent this from happening, however we are able to re-apply this effect if desired, please get in touch for further information.
A particular finish/colour may be changed/added on request, this can be negotiated via email and we will do our best to meet requirements, however we cannot guarantee the exact replication of a particular finish.
CONCRETE:
Concrete is a material known for its strength and durability; however, this does not make it indestructible. Concrete can also be very delicate and brittle therefore overtime, gradual erosion may occur. This can be amended/replaced, please email for further information regarding replacing the concrete in your jewellery.
The work we have put into developing our perfect concrete consistency has taken a lot of dedicated nurturing and we believe this should be respected as any other precious material such as gemstones or precious metals.
A particular finish/colour may be changed/added on request, this can be negotiated via email and we will do our best to meet requirements, however we cannot guarantee the exact replication of a particular finish.
PLEASE NOTE:
- We are not responsible for any naturally occurring damages/defects to the materials in our jewellery, however, will do our best to amend any issues you may have with an item for an agreed price.
- All items are handmade and therefore we cannot guarantee that all re-applied oxidisation solutions will look exactly the same as the previous design.
Thank you for your support and patience
